Diagnostic radiology is a field of medicine that uses non-invasive imaging scans to diagnose health conditions in patients. The tests and equipment used sometimes involve low doses of radiation to create highly detailed images of an area under observation. We are committed to excellence in image quality, accurate diagnosis, patient comfort, and safety.
CT Scan: We offer a world-class, latest Multislice Spiral CT scanner from Siemens which features a unique detector system that provides super-thin slices for crystal clear, comprehensive images. The scanner is engineered to generate the same high resolution in all three dimensions, allowing for multi-planar views of internal anatomical structures.
MRI: We offer the first MRI Machine in Delhi with an Ultra Short Magnet Length of only 145 cm to combat patient claustrophobia. This allows for more head out examinations ensuring that the patient does not experience any suffocation or claustrophobia. As in the case of conventional MRI’s, patients need not go through the discomfort of being placed inside a long tunnel.
X-Ray: The X-Ray passes through the patient’s body and the digital camera (located on the other side of the patient) and captures the resulting image. The main base station stores the pictures on a hard disk for image retrieval and processing. At our centre, all-digital X-rays are conducted using the FCR Capsula X CR system from Fuji. We use the 500 mA X-ray machine from Siemens.
Mammography: A mammogram is an x-ray picture of the breast. It can be used to check for breast cancer in women who have no signs or symptoms of the disease. It can also be used if you have a lump or other sign of breast cancer.
